Chaucer summary

    Geoffrey Chaucer was an art poet and was known as 'The father of English literature. Chaucer career was divided into three stages which developed from French to Italian tendencies. His work is a great sense of quality and it reflects sources such as Latin and French. Chaucer achievements are the rejections of conventions, rhetoric, types, symbols, etc.  According to the end of Troilus  and Criseyde, which is a book Chaucer wrote and which Chaucer informs his little tragedy with a line of classic poets. His achievements are having the ability to place various medieval and to depict complex ideas.
