Women in the middle ages preoccupy an amount of different social roles. During the middle ages, the period of European history lasted from the 5th century-15th century. Women grasp the position as a wife, mother, peasant ,artisan, and other important roles. During this period of time several forces influenced women's role.
Medieval society was not a fit place for women.  Women had difficult times when many men lived harsh lived.  Medieval society was commanded by men and women had to know what to say and what to do in such a society.  They had a small role or no role to play within the country.  Society authorized what jobs women could do and their role in a medieval society.
 The roles for women in the middle ages are connected with the church. The general rule Is the respect for women is found within a group married to one person at a time. Peasant women had domestic responsibilities, during the harvest women joined their spouses in the field to bring corps.  They took part in brewing, baking, and manufacturing textiles.
