Invisible Man
Ralph Ellison was born March 1, 1913 and he was an American novelist and scholar. He was alive during racism. Ellison attended Tuskegee University and realized that the African American institution was no less class than the white's institution.
African Americans united to get what they believed in just as the white people and called it The New Deal. Ralph book "Invisible Man' was published in 1945 and the civil rights movement became to make an impact through many different states. This book tells how the African Americans we're treated and looked down on and criticize by white people.
As of today racism exist just not as bad as it was many years ago. African Americans couldn't be taught how to read or write but as of today's society we are taught how to do these things. This novel is relevant today because racism had a way of making people be separate and criticized because of their skin tone and not because of what they are capable of
